Bluestone Lane Brings the Best of Aussie Summer Fashion to Montauk Beach
Memorial Day weekend 2018, we were thrilled to launch the Bluestone Lane Beach Collective, a fresh retail lifestyle concept at the end of The Hamptons.
The Concept
For Aussies, there is something quintessential about being by a beach in summer, which can be a tall order as we sit from desks in our high-rise Manhattan office buildings. Montauk is our saving grace, with its relaxed charm and laid-back beach lifestyle that makes us reminiscent of home. This summer, we are bringing our fellow Aussies to the beach, introducing seven of the best Australian summer fashion labels, who will be trading in our combined café and retail space at 786 Montauk Hwy.
The Collective
The Beach Collective features swim, sports, leisure, ready-to-wear fashion and accessories, drawing every personality type to the best collective of brands to love in summer. Australian labels have had an undeniable influence on the US fashion scene, and now, via the Beach Collective pop-up-style shop, you can find the most popular Aussie brands all in one place.
The Brands
Exhibiting the best from their collections, Bluestone Lane is excited to introduce The Upside, Matteau Swim, The 5th, P Johnson, Jasmine & Will, Pared Eyewear, and Chuchka to the USA, via Montauk.
The Launch
On Friday, May 25 we invited friends and Montauk locals into the refreshed space for drinks, bites and shopping. Following this and for the entirety of the summer, The Bluestone Lane Beach Collective invites customers to explore the selected Australian labels, while enjoying our Aussie-style coffee and café fare. From Memorial Day weekend (May 26), until October 8, each of the seven brands will be trading seven days a week.
