Revealed: Our New Winter Menu

As the cooler weather sets in, there are only a few things that will get you out of the house and into the cold. Consider this one of them.

This January, we are launching a refreshed menu, featuring a range of healthy and hearty new dishes to keep you warm through winter. Here’s a sneak peek of what to expect…

BL Big Brekkie & Eggs Your Way

To us, brunch is the most important meal of the day, and no Australian menu goes without this classic. The “BL Big Brekkie,” loaded with plentiful ingredients is a staple down under and a must try this season.
And, for those who love eggs on toast without all the rest, the “Eggs Your Way” addition allows you to create your own, with all the extras available as add-ons. Fried, scrambled or poached – whichever you choose, this dish allows you to have your breakfast, your way.

Warm Coconut Quinoa & Oat Porridge

In the spirit of introducing warming winter fare, we are reinventing the popular breakfast staple with our “Warm Coconut Quinoa & Oat Porridge.” Garnished with seasonal berries, banana and Husk Bakeshop gluten-free granola, this dish is sure to motivate you to roll out of bed for breakfast at Bluestone Lane.

Salmon Brioche w/ Herb Crème Fraiche

We are also introducing a new “Salmon Brioche with Herb Crème Fraiche” to the menu – put together with arugula, pickled beets, fresh dill and premium quality Grizzly Smoked Salmon. This appetizing addition to our sandwich offering makes the perfect lunchtime meal.

New Toast Offerings

Beetroot Hummus Toast

This season, a house-made roasted beetroot hummus on toasted Balthazar bread is hitting coffee shops, drizzled with olive oil and garnished with chili flakes. (We recommend adding feta cheese for an extra flavor hit).
In addition, for something a little more indulgent, we have put our own delicious spin on the classic fruit toast. Served with fresh lemon ricotta, sweet berry compote and a light layer of honey, this delicious fruit toast is gluten-free, brought to us exclusively by Husk Bakeshop.

Reserve Tea

To complement our new food offerings, we are welcoming organic Chamellia teas to the BL family! These direct-from-origin and rare reserve grade teas are the pinnacle of what truly excellent tea should be. Paying careful attention to brew times and dosage, this new range will change the way you think about your daily cuppa.
While rejuvenating our beverage selection, we are excited to announce the addition of oat milk to our current offering. A fantastic alternative to lactose, this milk tastes excellent as the base of a flat white or as a dash in your brew.

Of course, we know the golden rule – when it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Our signature “Avocado Smash” isn’t going anywhere, and neither are our classic Baked Eggs and seasonal Breakfast Bowl.
