There is something magical about the cooler mornings, cuddled up in coats with a delicious hot coffee (or Turmeric Latte!).
With the mornings getting colder & the days getting shorter, it’s a perfect time to incorporate some warming, wholesome dishes to nourish our bellies.
As the seasons change so does the way we eat. Autumn is the season where our bodies require different types of foods to stay balanced as we prepare for the transition to winter. Bluestone Lane’s fall / winter menu offers up some old favorites along with some brand new dishes curated by our very own nutrition guru Alex Kate Knight. Here is a sneak peak of our new fall / winter menu —
Get lots of nourishing goodness from our new warm breakfast bowl, featuring sautéed kale, avocado, heirloom cherry tomatoes, red quinoa, feta & a poached egg.
For something a little more indulgent, we have put a new spin on our waffle this season. The Dark Forest Waffle is drizzled with dark chocolate and served with house made berry yogurt and blueberries.
Bluestone Lane’s Green Baked Eggs have long been a huge favorite on our menu, so we thought why not add a new option to the ever popular dish. This ratatouille style Red Baked Eggs has tomato, zucchini, bell pepper, fresh basil and is served in a hot skillet with multigrain bread on the side.
Our sandwich options now include this hearty Beef Brisket on Brioche. Slow cooked, pulled brisket with a crisp apple, mint & red cabbage slaw with a side of potato chips.
This vegan friendly porridge dish is a perfect start to your morning. Set yourself up for the day with warm coconut quinoa & oats, served with crisp red apples, coconut flakes & creamy nut butter.
Some might say soup is a winter essential and we agree! Our belly warming soups will be changing week to week to include & utilize as much of the amazing seasonal winter vegetables available.
