Situated on 5th Avenue, our Museum coffee shop consists of two different areas at the Museum of the City of New York. The first is an outdoor courtyard with a coffee cart, serving you our classic drinks menu as well as some light pastries and treats from Husk Bakeshop. This serene outdoor area is perched at the front of the museum and overlooks the lush Central Park. Here, we don’t just cater for museum patrons, it is open for all. It’s the perfect place to lounge under an umbrella while admiring the foliage and watching colorful foot traffic go by. Alternatively, you can grab a takeaway coffee and one of our popular lamingtons on your way to the park.
Inside, on level 2 is the second part of the Museum Bluestone Lane coffee shop, where you can relax and enjoy a little pick-me up flat white, wellness drink, juice or one of our popular toasts in-between exhibitions to recharge. Up here you’ll have a view of the remarkable chandelier designed by Cooper Joseph Studio that elevates the everyday coffee experience by adding a touch of elegance and sophistication! Even though this coffee shop is in the museum, you’ll still notice the classic Bluestone Lane aesthetic and greenery woven into the grandeur of the historic white marble museum, creating a sense of relaxation and tranquillity for all of our locals.
