Welcome to La La (Brea) Land

As part of our move cross-country, Bluestone Lane has opened in sunny Los Angeles with a new location at 176 South La Brea Avenue. Situated amongst the eclectic spread of trendy retail stores and eateries, Bluestone Lane La Brea is a one-stop shop for premium coffee and healthy fare.

The design

This spacious 1,950 sq ft. location is enveloped in greenery, highlighted by mint green tiles, deep teal cushions and dispersed planters that ornament the space. Architecturally designed by Electric Bowery, this coffee shop features high ceilings and expansive skylights that allow natural light to flood the space. A free-flowing layout is created by the large storefront windows that blur the threshold between interior and exterior spaces, complementary to the warmer Los Angeles climate. Ample outdoor seating beneath the candy-striped awning allows locals to enjoy all day brunch and lunch in a sun-drenched seat.

The aesthetic of this location pays homage to the industrial history of the area, featuring rustic exposed brick, wooden trusses, and concrete flooring. Bluestone Lane’s signature style tastefully contrasts these elements; represented by whitewashed timber tones and authentic Australian beach prints by photographer Jacob Gordon.

Healthy food and drink offering

Bluestone Lane will be bringing signature Australian-style coffee, wellness drinks, BL cold-pressed juices and organic teas to the new La Brea location. These will be accompanied by seasonal health food bowls, open-faced sandwiches including our #AvoSmash, and a range of grab and go items and delicious pastries. Bluestone Lane at La Brea will also feature a daily selection of fresh salads and pre-made sandwiches, adding to your selection of plentiful and delicious lunch options. Whether you’re after something on the go or to dine in, both are equally catered for. Please note our kitchen typically closes 30 mins before the café closes. We can’t wait to become your new local!
