Bluestone Lane’s West Village Collective Café represents a significant expansion from our smaller coffee shops, offering a seasonal menu featuring progressive café fare with table service, for all-day breakfast, lunch and early evening appetizers.

Friendly, engaging table service combined with a tastefully designed aesthetic where you find respite from the New York hustle, is a pillar of focus for this café.

The Collective Cafe’s menu is dedicated to producing sophisticated, yet clean and natural fare that can be consumed all day. Our menu reflects the café culinary themes found in Australia, where there is a strong focus on dishes that are healthy and do not require heavy cooking. We also provide a variety of Gluten Free options provided by Husk Bakeshop.

Some of our menu highlights include fresh Avocado Smash, pea and mint smash, ratatouille baked eggs, as well as our brekkie board and popular and super nutritious breakfast bowl!

All our dishes are complemented by some of the best coffee and tea you’ll find in the city, as well as a carefully selected local beer and wine list.

Designed by Julia Sullivan, Creative Director of Caswell Design Group, the light-filled aesthetic paired with rustic features, was designed to feel like a chic beach cafe – complete with a powder-coated white La Marzocco Linea PB espresso machine sitting atop a polished concrete bar. The space is divided into two distinctly different areas, however both enjoy abundant light filtering through, creating the perfect spot to sit and enjoy a classic Australian café experience.

The front room is lined with windows ideal to watch the passing West Village traffic. If you prefer a more private space, the intimate dining room with bay window seating, faces a beautiful open-air secret courtyard, an ideal space to host private functions. The courtyard provides the chance to dine outside within an enclosed vestibule structure, featuring wrap-around bench seating below a canopy of ivy and bamboo.

Bluestone Lane West Village also offers some of the best and largest alfresco sidewalk dining opportunities in downtown Manhattan. It’s the perfect spot to watch the passing foot traffic and all the color and vibrancy that the West Village is known for.
