Pride Month 2018

We’ve Wrapped our First Café in Hearts to Spread the Love This Pride Month

In the midst of a month that holds so much significance, we have collaborated with artist and creator of the iconic Lovewall, James Goldcrown.

James creates masterpieces of lapping hearts, filling whole walls with a powerful and resonant message. In honor of Pride month 2018, we called on his artistic talent to envelop our flagship café in rainbow-colored hearts.

“It was an easy decision to work with James to project this message to our community. Pride is something that we support with affection, and we wanted our locals to feel the acceptance that we embrace and demonstrate every single day,” says Bluestone Lane Collective Café Manager, Marcelo De Biasi.

Situated in the heart of the West Village, we used our flagship café as the canvas to express acceptance, support, equality, and love. James’ signature hearts are recognized around the globe, but hold particular significance within the United States. This June, we invite our locals to look out and see the world through love-filled lenses.

James says the Lovewall, and the message that it emenates has found a place within Pride month. “For me, it is a platform that allows people from all over the world to come together and express themselves and spread love. With Pride month finally becoming a regular fixture in today’s society, the Lovewall is welcomed into a new family. I’m thankful for companies like Bluestone Lane, because they help spread the message of love and expression for the LGBTQ community and the people who care about them,” says James.
