Celebrating Australia with G’Day USA
On the evening of Australia Day (January 26), Bluestone Lane partnered with Qantas, Bondi Sands and Tourism Australia at the 16th annual G’Day USA Gala. The black-tie event celebrated the US-Australia relationship, highlighting several Aussies for their contribution to strengthening the Mateship between our two nations.
The BL Coffee Bar
Our Bluestone Lane Coffee & Espresso Martini Bar provided guests with fuel (and a buzz) throughout the entire evening. In partnership with Bondi Sands, we transformed the VIP Gala area into a beach oasis after party, highlighting something we’re known for in the ‘land down under;’ our famous Australian beaches.
The Red Carpet
The star-studded guest list included our very own (Aussie) Liam Hemsworth, who was an honored guest, presented with a G’Day USA Excellence in Film award. He attended with his now-wife Miley Cyrus. Check out the reel below for some of the other familiar faces who shared the evening with us.
American Australian Arts Awards
Following the G’Day USA Gala, we celebrated our Aussies in NYC on January 31st at the American Australian Arts Awards. The evening event, hosted by AAA (American Australian Association) celebrated the incredible contributions made by Australians in the entertainment and arts industries. The BL on-site coffee bar fuelled Elle Macpherson, Simon Baker, Hugh Jackman and many more.
